Stop Food Overdose Now

by Andrew Chung, M.D., Ph.D.

In deference to Dr. Hippocrates, just as we weigh our medicine for the right dose, we should weigh our food for the right amount of daily intake.

About this project

The problem we solve:
Visceral adipose tissue (VAT), which happens with food overdose, has been established in the peer-reviewed medical literature to be the underlying cause of a plethora of chronic acquired human diseases that are bankrupting the healthcare systems of affluent countries such as the United States.

About our solution:
"Stop Food Overdose Now" is the non-invasive information-technology-based medical alternative to invasive bariatric surgery for curing the "plethora of chronic acquired human diseases" plaguing Americans.
Progress to date: HeartDoc Andrew's own hsCRP is now undetectable since losing his own VAT via "stop food overdose now" in order to convince his patients, family, colleagues, and friends to do likewise. An interview about the "progress to date" by an independent 3rd-party journalist can be heard at http://bit.ly/InterviewForPOTUS

How We Help Patients

It's when we "stop food overdose now" that we remove the disease-causing visceral adipose tissue (VAT) that has us fall short of living longer, healthier lives.

How We Help Education

It's when we "stop food overdose now" that we lose the dementia-causing visceral adipose tissue (VAT) thereby transforming physician education by making it easier for us to both learn and remember what we've learned.

How We Help Physicians

It's when we "stop food overdose now" that we lose the chronic-fatigue-causing visceral adipose tissue (VAT) so that we'd have the energy we need to continue to improve our practice of medicine.

Challenge Mission

Mission: It's when we "stop food overdose now" that we lose the disease-causing visceral adipose tissue (VAT) and are thereby empowered by improved health to lead, by example, the nation to improved health.
Use of funds: The "grant of up to $25,000" would be donated to the non-profit http://GlobalHumanitarianSummit.org where the "Stop Food Overdose Now" project is show-cased along with other humanitarian projects by other NGOs (non-governmental organizations) for the benefit of the global community.
Intellectual Property Status: The "Stop Food Overdose Project" is humanitarian work that is freely performed outside the constraints of intellectual property.
Patent Link: http://HeartMDPhD.com/BeHealthier
FDA Status: Non-applicable because food is "generally regarded as safe" (GRAS) by the FDA unlike medications.
Personal Message: Be hungrier, which is wonderfully healthier, especially for the heart. This is important because we care with our heart, HeartDoc Andrew.
